About Moschella Architecture

Moschella/Architecture (M/A) is a New York design firm that takes an innovative and versatile approach to architecture. Its founding principal, Richard Moschella brings over 30 years of professional knowledge in residential design. With extensive experience in shepherding projects through the complex approvals process within co-op boards, Landmarks Preservation and NYC Department of Buildings.

M/A is the continuation of the creative leadership of Moschella/Roberts Architects whose work has appeared in publications such as Architecture Digest, Elle Décor and Interior Design. Works have included townhouse renovations, loft and apartment renovations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, as well as residences in upstate New York, Connecticut and eastern long island.

M/A works with clients and designers to make each project an engaging, collaborative design journey. Understanding and responding to clients’ needs and aspirations, M/A creates spaces that are perfectly tailored to fit the client’s life. Current work is as varied as renovations and additions to an historic shingle style house in Connecticut, to ground-up modern new construction projects.
